Q  How Much Does Dry Tubing Slope Cost?

A  The cost of a tubing slope varies based on a number of factors. Some variables to consider when estimating the cost are: excavation to prepare the site, tubing slope size, tubing slope material choice, accessories such as snow tube, artificial grass, and lights.

Q  What Is The Best Choice for Dry Tubing Slope?

A  Our mushroom tile and dot tile are ideal solutions for dry tubing slope. If you’re looking for the best value, you can’t beat mushroom’s 9 different standard colors and similar to natural snow performance. And, its flexible feature makes it can be installed over bumps, and can make wave tunnel, straight tunnel, turning tunnel and jumping tunnel. Dot tile is another great option that will give you the look and feel of a real snow tubing slope at a fraction of the cost.

Q  What Is The Best Dry Ski Slope Material?

A  Ski Grass and Snow Grain Mat are great artificial ski slope materials. The material does not absorb water, so it can prevent germs and mildew from growing, and easy to clean with a water jet.

The snow grain mat has a high-density surface that provides excellent grip and prevents users from falling. Just like real snow, the surface rebounds against pressure from skis and snowboards, allowing the user to develop muscle memory that can be carried over to snow slopes. Either is an excellent choice for beginner training.

Q  What Type Of Surface Should Dry Tubing Tiles Be Installed Over?

A  Concrete or asphalt is preferred, but any solid and smooth surface will work. Please note: Our tiles can be put over crushed stone outdoors, but it is not advised for long-term performance and durability.

Q  What Is The Life Expectancy Of Junway Dry Slope?

Our dry slopes come with a 6-year warranty but the life expectancy is more than 10 years.

Q  What Is The Process To Build A Dry Tubing Slope?

A  First, decide what size slope you want and how much space you have available. A good starting point is a 3mx150m slope, which gives you room for one adult snow tube and room for two children's snow tube.

Next, contact Junway with your court dimensions. We will have a representative that can help design your slope, or if you have a local contractor that can get your base installed, Junway can provide installation instruction.

Either way, Junway can walk you through the process for the most cost-effective solution. We can also provide snow tubes, artificial grass, and other playground equipment for your project.

Q  Can Dry Tubing Slope Be A DIY Installation?

A  Yes! Many customers choose to do these projects on their own. If you already have a concrete or asphalt pad in place and are looking to spruce it up by overlaying our tile system, DIY is the way to go. Or, you can hire your trusted local contractor to build the base for the court and install the tiles to keep your costs down.

Q  What’s The Sliding Speed On Dry Tubing Slope?

A  Sliding speed depends on the slope grade, especially the start slope grade. We suggest the smallest start slope angle not less than 13 degrees. The middle slope angle not less than 9 degrees. The last buffer length not less than 40m.

Q  Are The Tiles Must Use A Wax Or Spray System?

A  As with any surface, the tiles can be more slippery when using was or watering. But for Junway dry slope materials, watering is not a must, it can provide fast speed without wax or water.

Q  How Often Does A Dry Tubing Slope Need To Be Resurfaced?

A  In general, most artificial tubing slope surfaces should be resurfaced every 4 to 8 years. This depends on a variety of factors, including how much use the slope gets, how well it is maintained, and the climate in which the slope is installed. There are several Junway tubing slope tiles that have been in use for over 8 years.

Q  How Much Space Do You Need To Build A Tubing Slope?

A  Generally artificial tubing slope surfaces take up a 10mx300m space. The playing area is 3mx150m. With 3.5m of walking space on each side of the slope and 150m of waiting space.

Trees and vegetation should be kept away from the slope to help prevent leaves and debris from collecting on the slope. These can degrade a traditional surface over time without proper upkeep.
